Heidi
and I are deep in preparation for Thursday's departure! Like morons we decided
we would work our jobs to the last day. Heidi did our final pre-departure interview with Global Missions on this
past Thursday and everything is official and complete.
We are overwhelmed with the love and support we have received in the process. Thank you for the words of love, cards in the mail, offerings and financial support, and your coveted prayers. We are truly blessed and favored by your kindness. The Lord has provided our every need. May He bless and favor you!
This week we are packing; 6 footlockers at 50 lbs each and 2 carry-on's. Inside are church and school materials (donated), missionary supplies, all items needed for our apartment, Heidi's shoes, Heidi's clothes, Heidi's shampoo, and if there's room, my underwear.
We fly out Thursday; small layover in Brussels then on to Freetown, Sierra Leone. We are excited to follow the leading of God in whatever direction and adventure He will take us. For His glory and Kingdom. We love you all.
